Celebrant Training: Consistent and Reliable Tutor Support
By Veronika Sophia Robinson
The world of celebrancy is filled with variables:
changes of venue
constantly new clients
new scripts to write
new language
new CPD
new, new, new.
What can be particularly helpful is having a place of consistency in our ever-changing work. One such place is having the foundation of tutors you’re familiar with and can come back to again and again as desired (even if just for moral support). Some celebrant-training courses, for example, have a high turnover rate of tutors. This means that if you had started building a bond with one of them, and they move on to greener pastures or away from the confines of that organisation’s business model, then you’re on your own. This is far more common than you might expect.
At Heart-led Celebrants, we are committed to enjoying long-term relationships with our certified celebrants, and they know the door is always open. All they have to do is knock, and we’ll be there with open arms. That support shows in different ways for different people. For some, it’s script appraisal; for others, it’s seeking support when working with difficult clients or funeral director; for some celebrants, it’s wanting some hand holding while they create bespoke rituals; and for others it’s just having a friendly shoulder to share other aspects of the job.
We’re always here, and it is our pleasure to be of service in this way.
