My name is Lynda Gibson, a Heart-Led Celebrant based in the beautiful North Coast of Ireland.
My heart as a celebrant is to enable people to honour the moments and transitions that are most meaningful to them and their lives.
In my work, I endeavour to come alongside each person as they choose to pause at these junctures and mark them in a manner that is sacred to them through the use of ritual and words. I’m especially interested in creating space to observe those times and transitions that we less often pause at to celebrate or grieve. Each ceremony I craft and facilitate will be entirely unique to you and your life story. I love being in the outdoors and, where possible, believe most occasions can only be enriched by being immersed in nature.
Some of my loves are poetry and observing the seasons, hiking and sea swimming, stories and gift giving and, most importantly, being with my people.

In life there are so many ups and downs that change our world and challenge our purpose. At 54 years of age my life was turned upside down and inside out with the unexpected death of my beautiful daughter. The following years were filled with much soul searching as to my purpose and role in life. This quote from Call the Midwife sparked my inner being. It was then I began to look for the light and found what I believe to be my true vocation.
The light for me came in the direction of the celebrant qualification. I am so excited at the prospect of meeting and working with you. I am excited at the challenge of crafting and creating your unique, bespoke scripts, for those special and memorable occasions.
I am a Heart-Led Celebrant, trained to create personalised ceremonies for all those special occasions.
You may wish to share your commitment and love in a celebration of your union. Your bespoke ceremony would tell of your love story, how you met, how your relationship blossomed and flourished and led you to your special day. You may wish to include the ancient Celtic ritual of handtying or the age old tradition of jumping the Besom or broom as it is more commonly known. You may like me to create a ritual personal to you as a couple, or that has a link to your family, culture, and heritage. Imagination and creativity hold no boundaries or limits as I create an original and customised script for your unique celebration.
Many parents wish to publicly welcome and acknowledge the safe arrival of a baby/child into their family, be this a biological or adopted child. I can create the most amazing naming ceremony, meaningful and bespoke to your requirements. The ceremony can be hosted in a setting of your choice, be this your garden or in a local beauty spot.
The end of a loved one’s life can be so difficult for the family and friends left behind. A celebration of life honours your loved one. Following a meeting with you, I will create a script that incorporates your cherished memories, thoughts, and wishes to reflect the life of your loved.
You may wish to have your ceremony at a crematorium, or you may wish a graveside ceremony. It may be that you would like a ceremony for the interment or scattering of ashes at a favourite or memorable location. I will guarantee my support and guidance as I walk with your loved one’s final journey. Religious elements can be incorporated into your ceremony if you so wish.

I’m on a mission, I always have been, to spread love, hope and joy.
How you make other people feel about themselves says a lot about you. I’d like the couples that I marry at their wedding ceremony, the families and friends of those having a naming ceremony and the loved ones of people I inter at their funeral, to feel the best and the most fulfilled, that they could feel in their individual circumstances. I, quite simply, want to bring joy, comfort, laughter and ‘sparkle’. Naff as it may sound, I think it’s what I am here for. If people’s faces ache from smiling at the end of the day, then it’s been a day well spent.
The ceremonies I create with you and for you, will be as unique as each individual involved. We’ll share love, life and loss and support, encourage and inspire each other along the way.

Hi, I'm Amy, a proud Northerner, small in size but with a big heart and even bigger laugh. I have one mission: to create courageous, colourful and captivating ceremonies. Why have a boring ceremony, when you can have a a powerful one? Why have the same script as everyone else, when it can be totally unique, totally spell binding and totally you! Words should mean something. Your ceremony should tell a story. Life and love should be celebrated to the max. If you agree, we may just be the perfect match - I believe this is important.
I trained in 2019 as an independent celebrant specialising in bespoke weddings, namings and funerals. Before then, I admit, I was pretty new to celebrancy too, but once I discovered it, its endless possibilities; once I witnessed for myself what could be achieved with the right celebrant, I knew I had to pursue it and spread the word. I knew I had to help people like you make the most of their big moments.
As well as a celebrant, I am a writer and a performance poet regularly entertaining crowds with my witty, passionate words and zest for life. I've been an English teacher for the majority of my working career so you can feel safe in the knowledge that I'm a people person. My name is Andrea Keenan, and I am proud to be a Heart-Led celebrant.
I live in Annan, in south west Scotland, near the border of Scotland and England and I became a celebrant in December 2019. I had wanted to do this for a long time, and I am so glad I took the leap. I began my celebrant journey in 2020, a year that challenged us all, and despite being challenged by the times we live in I have absolutely no regrets and cannot wait till the world can celebrate again.
To me, being a celebrant is a huge privilege. To share the most important moments in someone’s life is an honour I take very seriously, and I believe each ceremony I write should truly reflect the person and the occasion completely. I feel so lucky to hear people’s stories of how they fell in love, how they lived their life and what they believed in.

My name is Julie and I am an Independent Celebrant based in the North East, covering the Tees Valley area.
It is of huge importance to me that each funeral or memorial ceremony is unique, and that it reflects each individual’s personality as well as their family’s wishes. I will always endeavour to really understand what a family needs and get to the heart of your loved one.
My celebrant journey began after attending a truly lovely and fitting funeral service. It was such a wonderful celebration of that person’s life that it led me to consider the many funerals I have attended - some beautifully delivered and some mediocre. It got me thinking what a wonderful thing it must be to be able to provide a family with exactly the ceremony that they need - personalised for them and their loved one.
After some research, I decided to attend two different training courses-the first of a very practical nature and then I trained with Heart Led Celebrants to further my knowledge and expand my writing skills.
My background as an IT Analyst and Trainer, and also as a fitness instructor and yoga teacher, both serve me well in the role of Celebrant. I’ve always been very driven by helping others - I’m definitely a people person.

Hi! I'm Sandie and the face of Celestial Celebrations. I am originally from Liverpool, but have spent most of my life growing up on the beautiful Wirral peninsula.
I love the following things: my family and friends (obviously!); my loveable hounds, Luna and Willow; my cats Tabitha and Alan; chocolate; the colour purple; the moon; Spring and Autumn; crafting & creating; pottery, and anything to do with spirituality.
I love nothing more than to spend time with my family while we explore the local area. I love to feel the sand from the local beach between my toes, while my crazy cockerpoos chase birds they have no hope of catching.

My name is Jennifer Flint. I am a coach, author, and leadership development professional. Hello! My name is Kimberlee Brown-Boyer and I am a Heart-Led, Independent Celebrant in
Mustang, Oklahoma. I’ve always loved the intimacy and magic of word medicine. I come from
a family of writers, readers and communicators so it’s with great love that I embrace my calling.
I work as a Celebrant here in Mustang and the surrounding areas which include Edmond,
Oklahoma City, Norman, Yukon and El Reno. I received my Advanced Celebrant Training in
2019 and being part of such an old and noble profession is a dream come true for me!
Every day is filled with creativity and an opportunity to bring some joy and love into this world.
My hobbies include but aren’t limited to: Spending time in my art studio painting animals in
gorgeously vivid colors, being mesmerized by thunderstorms, listening to Bossa Nova, walking
barefoot, digging in the dirt, planting seeds, spending time in the woods, cooking with whole
foods, reading mysteries and ancient history, dancing everywhere and at any time, writing letters
and keeping tabs on our five dogs. Life is such a magical roller coaster and I am so grateful for

My name is Kay Manby and I have had an assorted life working in different parts of the world including London, Hong Kong and Harrogate, where I now live and practice as a yoga teacher and celebrant.
I have a large family, children and grandchildren on both sides of the globe. I was drawn to becoming a celebrant through attending my daughter’s wedding in Australia. It was bespoke, relaxed, special and personal and was the catalyst for discovering more about becoming a celebrant.

The celebration of a life event should be as unique as the individual. My mantra is “All you need is love”. I believe that the experience of sharing love through ceremony is a defining feature of what it means to be human. My ceremonies are not bound by any religious ideology – they are hand crafted ceremonies that honour your view of the world and illuminate love in its many forms.
As a Heart Led Celebrant I am interested in the way we connect with each other, and how our relationships shape us as unique and special individuals. My interest in ceremony has grown from a long career in adult social care. I have had the privilege of working closely with a variety of people from different walks of life, seeing their lives from their own unique point of view. My experience has grown into a genuine understanding of the power that love can bring, in good times and in bad. Love motivates me to live my life empathically and I always to strive for tolerance, respect and equality.

Hello my name is Gillian and I am a Heart-Led Celebrant based in the North West of England and travel between Liverpool, Southport, St Helens and Liverpool. I would appreciate the opportunity to conduct a Heart-Led service for you and your loved ones.
As a partner, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, I have been the strength, the hand-holder, the proud onlooker and the organiser; according to the needs of those around me.
Now I would like to use those skills to help and support those in my wider community.
I will plan a beautiful funeral, with your input, in order to respectfully say a final goodbye.
Together, we can create a memorial farewell to a loved one, perhaps at a later date due to current restrictions, when friends and family can say a ‘proper’ farewell.
These services will, truly, be Heart-Led. We can sing, pray, read a tribute or just hum along to a favourite tune whilst we wipe away a tear of sadness as we say goodbye; all according to what the deceased 'would have wanted’.

As a grandmother, the arrival of my precious grandchildren has regularly brought joy to the lives of my family and friends. In conducting a Heart-Led naming ceremony, I can create a thoughtful and ethereal celebration of the beauty of life using poems, rituals and affirmations as we welcome the new addition to the family or celebrate the joining of new family members together to make a wider loving household.
A Heart-Led wedding ceremony will allow you to exchange rings, vows and love with those closest to you. Imagine sharing your love story with your nearest and dearest, pledging your troth and tying the knot as you capture all the romance of the past in jumping the broomstick as you enter wedlock.
Saying goodbye is so hard. I understand how much a pet is as important a part of the family, and much loved and I will also create a sensitive and respectful goodbye for your faithful friend as you inter their ashes in the garden of your home, should you wish.

Hello, my name is Fiona. I trained as an Independent Celebrant after many years employed in the DSS and more recently the Probation Service. Together, this has given me endless experience, listening to and collaboratively working with people in a respectful and sensitive way.
Over the last few years, I have been to a wedding and a couple of funeral ceremonies, that I felt were a little flat, with something missing. In addition, I have also been present at ceremonies that filled me with inspiration.
That was the seed of something in my mind, and with the belief that I already possessed many skills to bring to this immensely rewarding role I considered training to become a celebrant myself. As a compassionate person, with my emotions worn clearly on my sleeve, Heart-Led ceremonies have become a passion for me.
I am genuinely interested in people and have an empathetic personality which I bring to my ceremonies. By working closely with couples and families I can help create an inclusive and fitting ceremony, quite unique in every way.

When we have special events in our lives, it is important that if we choose, we can have ceremonies which reflect the uniqueness of the occasion.
I specialise in funeral and memorial ceremonies however, I also really enjoy working with families to create bespoke wedding, vow renewal, naming and adoption ceremonies.
So, what led me to the world of Celebrancy?
Having had a teaching career in primary education, I have had the privilege of working with many children and their families. We have learned so much from each other and I have many wonderful memories. I have developed a wealth of experience.
I hold a Certificate of Celebrancy with distinction from ‘Heart-Led Ceremonies Celebrant Training’ completed with Veronika and Paul Robinson. I continue to attend monthly CPD to ensure dynamic practice.
From personal experiences, I know that there are times in life when we need support and guidance from someone who really understands. I love listening to the life stories and experiences of others. I have a passion for writing so to be able to craft bespoke ceremonies for my clients is an absolute honour.
When I’m not working, spending time with family and friends is really important to me. I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially walking. Observing the gifts that each season brings is a real joy to me and I’m often found with a camera capturing these moments.

Hello, As a Celebrant, I compose stories, and poems. To get a sense of who I am and how I scribe, here is a portion of my story.
Raised on a farm; I have an innate connection with Mother Earth. I learned about the Cycles of Life and Rites of Passage. It wasn’t easy. My foundation stones were insecure.
In an isolated location, the animals became my family, my teachers and my guides. Devastated by the denial of my dream to run the farm, I have found other riches in life because of it. A B.Sc. from Oxford Brookes extended my knowledge in Geography and Geology. With further study I gained a PGCE from Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford.
There have also been extensive explorations of America, Africa, Iceland and Europe. I discovered my life partner living next door!
My Script and Service is Sacred, Spiritual and Symbolic Heart-Led Celebrant Veronika Robinson showed me how to craft and create ceremonial scripts. I catch moments to capture magical memories. I use words which flow from my heart to become softened with age and time, mellowed with maturity and mood when shared with the universe.
As a Psychopomp and Doula, I have been midwife to many. I help spirits pass. I'm a heart doctor, Hedge-witch and inspirational teacher. I give life lessons. I am told I am wise.
I’ve learned that to be human is to experience suffering. Part of the suffering is to find the joy and happiness which stems from love.
I know this now.
I have a Lantern Called Hope. I follow the light she brings. So that I may bring love, and light, into your life, also.
