The Unnoticed Day: Tuning into the Miracles Around Us
We often think of miracles as grand, logic-defying events that shatter our reality. We wait for massive shifts, dramatic coincidences, or sudden strokes of luck to prove that life is beautiful. Yet, by focusing entirely on the spectacular, we risk missing the quiet magic that constantly unfolds right beneath our noses. Miracles don’t usually arrive with a fanfare. I have noticed, throughout my life, that they are woven into the very fabric of our ordinary routines and are waiting for a moment’s notice to reveal themselves. When we alter our perspective slightly, the regular rhythm of a Tuesday morning reveals itself to be extraordinary.

Awakening to the Wonder of the Present
Shifting our awareness allows us to see that existence itself is a continuous series of small marvels and miracles. We do not need to look far to find them; we simply need to look closer at what we already have.
The Mystery of Growth: Consider a single seed planted in the soil. Without any noise or commotion, it knows precisely how to turn dirt and rain into a vibrant flower or a crisp green leaf. That silent intelligence operates constantly all around us, renewing the earth without making a sound. At the moment, I have about 300 seedlings sprouting ready for me to plant out as Winter vegetables. Every moment I observe their growth feels truly miraculous.
The Intelligence of the Body: Every single second, your heart beats, your lungs contract and expand, and millions of cells work in perfect harmony to keep you moving through the world. You do not have to remind your body to breathe or tell your eyes how to translate light into sight. Your body is a brilliant, living masterpiece that functions entirely on your behalf.
The Physics of the Ordinary: The fact that water turns to ice, that clouds hold tonnes of moisture before releasing rain gently over fields, and that the Earth spins through space at incredible speeds while we walk steadily down the high street are astonishing miracles we take for granted.

Living with an Open Gaze
Choosing to see the world through a lens of wonder alters how we feel inside. It softens our worries and replaces frustration with a sense of quiet awe. You begin to realise that you do not need to wait for your circumstances to change radically before you can experience something truly wonderful. Your life is already filled with these quiet miracles. By pausing to acknowledge them, you invite a sense of warmth and appreciation into your day, transforming the mundane into a deeply moving experience. Keep your eyes open for the small marvels. Notice the incredible design of a spiderweb in the morning dew, the perfect warmth of the sunshine on your skin, or the simple joy of a shared laugh. The extraordinary is already here!

A quiet wonder fills the land,
In every grain of golden sand.
Open your eyes to see the light,
And find the magic in your sight.
With love, light and celebration,
Veronika
